Canberra Tours from Sydney Travel to Canberra by Murrays or Greyhound Coach, arriving at approx 12.30pm, and leaving Canberra at 6:00pm. You make this booking separately. Either company should be able to offer a service leaving Sydney around 9am, which will get you to Canberra at about 12:30pm. Once in Canberra, its easy. Join the afternoon Explorer Bus in the City Centre, and explore Canberra until the last service (about 4:30pm. Purchase your Explorer Bus tickets when you join the Explorer Bus. Both Coach services from Sydney arrive in Canberra at the Canberra bus station, known as the Jolimont Centre. It's then a short walk (one block south) to the Explorer Bus stop, outside the Students Flights office, Platform 16, Melbourne Building, 59 Northbourne Avenue, Canberra City.
