Snowy Mountains Day Tour Commences 11th June 2008 Wednesdays & Fridays only. Minimum numbers may apply. Other days by arrangement.
Enjoy a leisurely mini bus trip to the Snowy Mountains, travelling through historic Cooma, headquarters of the mighty Snowy Mountains Scheme. Relax at the Snowy Hydro Information Centre in Cooma & learn about the history of the Scheme. Continue on over the famous Snowy River which now forms Lake Jindabyne, 7 times the size of Sydney Harbour. Take a train, through the Snowy Mountains to Perisher Valley Ski Resort, high in the Australian Alps, with Mt Kosciuszko as a backdrop. Mingle with the skiers, play in the snow & have lunch at the highest Ski Resort in Australia, Mt Blue Cow. The Bus can pick you up from most Hotels / Motels & Caravan Parks. The trip starts at 7:30am and rerturns approximately 6:30pm. Please note that it is an hour to Cooma & then another hour from Cooma to the Train that takes you into the snow.
